Evening Prayer in St Aidan's Church - usually held every Sunday
This is usually a said service according to the Book of Common Prayer, lasting around 25 minutes.
Incense is often used.
These are reconvening after the Advent break - there are three sessions a week and everyone is welcome to come along. We will be looking at a chapter of Mark's gospel each time we meet. Until Lent we meet every fortnight, then during Lent we will meet each week. If you would like to come to the Thursday afternoon session, please contact Brenda Frier - for Monday and Tuesday sessions, just turn up!

Each week during Lent we join with churches along the coast on Wednesday evenings at 7pm for a Communion Service together. Themes this year are based on writing by Rowan Williams including his new book "Discovering Christianity : a guide for the curious".

We celebrate Communion every Sunday at 11am except the fifth Sunday of the month in Autumn and Winter, when a Benefice service is held in one of our sister churches.
This is the central act of worship in our week with music and singing, which usually lasts an hour and is then followed by refreshments.

There is a marriage service being held at St Aidan's Church
There will be a number of sessions of study on the Gospel of St. Mark, the shortest of the Gospels, starting on 16 September. The sessions will run fortnightly, on Monday evenings and Tuesday afternoons, in the Gallery at St. Mary's in Belford until the beginning of Advent, and recommence after Christmas until Lent.
If you have any queries, please let Paul, Phyl or Louise know, and if you are able to let us know that you would like attend and your preferred day, that would be appreciated.
It won't be necessary to commit to all of the sessions, but everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend as many as may be possible.
We will provide copies of St. Mark's Gospel, tea/coffee and biscuits/cake will be on offer.
