Parents/carers and their 0-4 year olds are guaranteed a warm welcome at our weekly Food and Fun with Toddly Play sessions.
Sessions run most Thursdays during term time 9.00am – 11.00am in the community room at St Michael and all Angels Church, Felton. You are sure to be greeted with a smile and a warm drink on arrival where there are plenty of toys to keep the little ones entertained and a delicious breakfast spread available to keep hungry tummies happy!
During the session, at approximately 10.00am everyone is invited through into church for Toddly Play. Toddly play is an informal service that begins with lighting the candle and ends with bubble prayers. During the service we share a story, sing songs and explore sensory play trays all linked to the half termly theme.
Following Toddly Play we return to the community room for more drinks/food and play. Listen out for the song “Bye Bye Baby” signalling that our time together has come to an end and we look forward to seeing you all the following week.

If you would like to join us there is no need to book, just come along each week. Sessions are free but we do ask for a food bank donation to be placed in the collection boxes found in the church foyer. Many thanks for your support.

For further information please contact Anne 07963416931 or Carol 07592625353.

Term Time Only. Please check with one of the organisers if you are unsure.

St Michael & All Angels

A warm welcome awaits you at St Michael's.

Welcome to St Michael and All Angels - whether you are just looking, visiting the area, returning to church or finding a new place to be, welcome!

We are the parish church for Felton, Swarland and surrounding villages, and have a growing church family of all ages. We are people who enjoy coming together to serve God and the local community, both inside and outside our beautiful church building. Our worship services provide traditional and modern styles of worship (see details in the ‘services’ section’).  Fellowship continues after the 11.00am service with coffee and opportunities to chat, support and further build friendships.

We also meet together during the week for friendship, prayer and bible study, with a number of small groups, and daily prayer taking place on WhatsApp.

We have a heart for building relationships and a deep sense of community in Felton and the surrounding villages. The church family at St Michael’s is committed to showing Jesus’ love in practical ways to support people in the local community. We can provide listening and/or prayer, we can visit or provide practical help in times of difficulty.

‘Food and Fun’ for pre-school children and parents or carers, the Seniors lunch and the Community teas are just some of the ways that we do this.

If you, or someone you know is in need of prayer or practical help with something please contact Rev Rich Townend.

The parish of Felton: St Michael & All Angels is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Newcastle’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
