A Service of Holy Communion in which we commemorate the institution of Holy Communion by Jesus at The Last Supper. The service includes the opportunity for foot washing, and ends with the stripping of the altars and an optional watch of witness until 10pm.

You are very welcome to join us at one of our regular Worship Services. We have various services every Sunday, and at 10.15am on Wednesdays, as well as special and seasonal services which are listed here. We warmly invite you to join us, or simply to drop into the church and have a look round - we are open most days until 4pm.

With origins in Saxon times, and handsomely rebuilt in the 14th and 15th centuries, St Michael’s Church is steeped in history. It is also one of the architectural gems of Northumberland.
