About Us
We are a friendly church in the parish of North Shields. We have just come out of a lengthy period of interregnum and we welcomed our new clergy on Monday 27th November.
The team: Rev'd Canon Glyn Evans, Rector; Rev'd Dorothy Robinson, and Rev'd Malcolm Hall team vicars.
We are looking forward to the future with great excitement as we get to know the team.
Safeguarding:
Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults is a priority at St Augustin's, our volunteers undergo safeguarding training and have current DBS certificates
We are committed to following government and Churches’ Child Protection Advisory Service (CCPAS) guidelines on safeguarding and good working practice, including safe recruitment of workers. Our formal safeguarding policy can be seen upon request from Revd. Canon Glyn Evans or Dorothy Edwards our Safeguarding Officer or if you have any concerns regarding the safety or welfare of a child or vulnerable adult you can speak to either Glyn or Dorothy.
