WHAT'S ON?

Here are some notes about the social events connected with St John's and to which all are welcome, whether churchgoers or not.

Book Club Bible Study

The Book Club is on Fridays on Zoom from 10 am (after the 9:30 online Morning Prayer), and lasts for around 45 minutes. Contact Rev'd Matthew to be added to our mailing list and receive the weekly link(s): [email protected]

'Chapter and Verse' Creative Writing and Reading Group is on the first Friday of the month in the Hall from 2-3:30pm - beginning with a pilot session for Advent on Friday 6th December 2024.

The Men’s Group and the Women’s Group

These two groups meet for a very informal chat and general conversation, the former on the first Saturday of each month at the cafe in Dobbies Garden Centre, Ponteland from 10am, and the latter every first Tuesday in the month at The Chapel Park Public House from 8 pm. There’s nothing like exercising the vocal cords and putting the world to rights!
