Defibrillator Fundraising Campaign

Safeguard our local community from Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA)

Volunteering isn’t just about giving time - it’s about giving hope, saving lives, and creating a safer community for everyone in our local area. We are aiming to install a defibrillator in the car park at St John’s church. The defibrillator will be accessible from Stamfordham Road and be available to all who require assistance in the event of a cardiac emergency.

30,000 people die each year from out of hospital Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), 620 of these are people under the age

of 35 and 270 of these deaths happen to children within schools. If defibrillation takes place within the first three

minutes of a SCA, the patient’s chances of survival increase by upwards of 80%.

In order to install a defibrillator, a supporting frame and base as well as a power supply, we require £3700. We have

created an online giving page to allow organisations and individuals to donate the required money.
