Newcastle Holy Cross. Parish of Fenham

We would love to welcome you into our Church Family here at Holy Cross.
We are a friendly, all-inclusive community whose ages range from birth to the nineties, and gather together to worship God on Sundays at 10 a.m. The service lasts for around a hour.

Our worship is varied. On the first and third Sundays of each month we have a Family Service, and we are delighted that the first of these is always led by our young people. On the remaining weeks our worship is more traditional. We love to worship God in word and song.

We especially welcome families with young children and we have a very popular children's area where it is good to hear the sounds of young voices as they play during our service.

Baptisms and weddings continue to be a very important part of our church family life.

When the service ends we meet for tea or coffee, then make our way home for Sunday lunch.

We very much hope that you will feel able to join us soon.

Our parish of Newcastle: Holy Cross is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer Anne Brewis. Our Diocese of Newcastle’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. At present the Diocesan advisor for Safeguarding is in vacancy, therefore please contact the Venerable Rachel Wood, Archdeacon of Northumberland: [email protected].
