Choir Club offers a high-quality musical education to children of all faiths and none, in the local area. For children aged 5-7, the club will run music sessions that use the transformational Kodály (Koh-da-yee) method, delivered by accredited Kodály practitioner Jane Harland. In these sessions, students will develop their listening, singing, rhythmic and collaborative skills, giving every child the best possible foundation for musical learning.
Every Thursday, at 3.30pm, children will be offered a snack and a drink before enjoying their sessions with Jane & Tim, as well as some time for supervised play.
The Choir Club has been generously funded by St Gabriel’s Church, the St Hilda’s Trust, the council and other funders. We are also fortunate that we have a number of volunteers to care for and supervise your child while they attend the club.
Nevertheless, to cover all costs we will request a payment of £3 per weekly session. We wish our Choir Club to be available to all children in the community. If your child receives Pupil Premium, this can be covered by schools so please get in touch for more information.
