Exciting news! The Bishop of Newcastle is pleased to announce that the Rev’d Gerard Rundell, at present Assistant Curate at Alnwick St Michaels, has been appointed Priest in Charge of Christ the King, to be made Team Rector. Final arrangements for the licensing and welcome service are still to be made but it is expected that this will be in the early autumn [probably September]. Please keep Gerard, his wife Karen and their two children in your prayers as they prepare to move over the summer and as Gerard looks to begin this new ministry. He will be based at St Aidan's.
