As part of the national heritage open days Christ Church will be open on 14 and 15 September 2024 to hold an exhibition on the history of Shieldfield and Christ Church. It is an opportunity to see the church inside of this Grade II* listed building. A coffee morning will also be held on Saturday and student barbecue on Sunday afternoon

Christ Church is situated  next to Northumbria University, off New Bridge Street. You are welcome to join us for Sunday worship and see inside this beautiful historic church building.
