About Us

St Luke’s is a parish church at the heart of the city of Newcastle upon Tyne. Our vision is to see God’s restoration of the city through the revelation of the truth, the formation of disciples, and the demonstration of God’s love to every person in Newcastle.

On Sundays at St Luke’s, the church family gathers for our 10:30am morning service in the church hall on Claremont Street.

Our service is informal and full of energy, and everyone is welcome to come along. You can expect time spent in sung worship, a talk rooted in the truth of Scripture, the sharing of sacraments, and opportunities to pray with others. After the service, we spend time catching-up and getting to know one another better, as we seek to know God and are equipped to make Him known in our neighbourhood, into Newcastle, throughout the North East and beyond. Our services are family friendly, and your little ones are very welcome!

Each week, the St Luke’s church family gather together in homes to eat together, worship God, study the Bible, and pray with one another. Our groups are not just a place for personal discipleship, they’re a place of fellowship and family, a safe place and a place of growth for everyone in them. To help facilitate our growth together as a big-church family, sharpening and encouraging one another as we walk in the same direction, each group follows the preceding Sunday’s teaching, digging into it a bit deeper together.

We'd love to welcome you to St Luke's – everyone's invited to be part of the adventure!
