Snods Edge church - Shotley St John, if we're being formal - doesn't fit categories easily: a rural church with a congregation of several dozen drawn from the parish and well beyond; a mixture of styles of worship and of all kinds of people. What holds us together is the aspiration to be a place that welcomes everyone in the name of Jesus Christ and that works to grow together as a community worshipping him. Please join us for worship at 10:45 every Sunday.
We are currently 'in vacancy' - that is, between vicars - and are hoping to appoint a new vicar to serve our parish, along with our neighbours in Blanchland, Edmundbyers and Muggleswick, later in 2024.
