About Us

The Parish of Cowpen is located to the western edge of Blyth, Northumberland and serves the areas of Cowpen, Leech's Estate, Kitty Brewster, Chase Farm, Horton Park, Beaumont Manor & Crofton Grange, including the industrial estate and retail park. The Parish Church was built in the 1960's to replace the old church of St. Catherine and to serve the growing community. It has a more modern feel, internally resembling an upturned boat. The church benefits from a large attached hall, which is ideal for events or parties and an enclosed Parish Garden which is now maturing to become a delightful space for all to enjoy. We have two access points and car parks, one on the main thoroughfare off Brierley Road, Cowpen ( just down from the Spar store) and one via Devonworth Place, Cowpen.

Outside we have large grounds and fabulous garden.

There are number of activities that take place regularly and we are always open to new groups. Please just ask!
