Keep the holidays going as long as possible by coming along to our next BLAST Session - on Sunday 2nd June at 3pm in St Mary's Church Hall.

BLAST is designed for families to have fun together, learning about the Christian faith through activities, songs, stories and food. This time we’ll be exploring the story of the paralysed man who was lowered through the roof to meet Jesus. And we’re making our own puppet theatre too!

Safeguarding

Our parish of Blyth: St Mary is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Newcastle’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact our PSO, Alison Brennand (01670 351949) or the DSA Carol Butler on 07825 167 016. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority children or adult social care services.
