In the UK the Children's Society encourages churches to hold Christingle services to promote their work supporting vulnerable children. At our service on Tuesday 8th a collection was taken for the Children’s Society.

At our service we sang carols, talked about the meaning of Christingles and at the end lit our Christingles.  The children take their Christingles home and light them again over Christmas .
