About Us

St James is a small but growing church situated on the eastern side of Bolton.

We are friendly and welcoming to all people.

Our worship is main stream Anglican using a variety of hymns and common worship liturgy.

Our All-Age services are less formal, and more interactive. This monthly service is led by the vicar and the young people one month followed by the worship ALM's (authorised lay ministers) the following month

This is a comment made by a recent visitor "Great atmosphere. I have young children and a baby and we are always welcomed!! Even when the kids are being a cheeky! There’s a play area and we never feel that should put us off from going xx
