About Us

Christ’s Church, consecrated in 1840, is in the village of Harwood in the north east of Bolton, Lancashire. We’re an Evangelical church and member of the Church of England. We are in the Walmsley Deanery in the Diocese of Manchester. A comprehensive history of the church is available in booklet form priced at £5 plus p&p, please contact us if you would like to purchase one.

We offer a variety of regular Sunday Services and would also welcome you to hold your Wedding, Baptism or Funeral with us.

At Christ’s Church we pride ourselves in our fellowship and offer a variety of groups for both adults and children. From Bible study to gardening, there’s something for everyone.

We also host a number of events throughout the year which are advertised on on our Events page and on our Facebook page.

For the cake and coffee lovers we host a community café every Friday and everyone is made welcome.
