St Nicholas, Newchurch, Rossendale, has been here since 1511. Over the generations it has been a place where people have laughed and cried, prayed and worshipped, and found the love and peace of God.
The worship is modern catholic, reflective and spiritual but above all, happy and welcoming.
The Sacrament is reserved in the church and all major Saint days are celebrated with the Eucharist.
Everyone is made to feel welcome here and everyone matters.
Sunday Eucharist 10.30 am.
Wednesday Morning Prayer 10.00 am with Eucharist
All major Saint Days are celebrated with an evening Eucharist at 7.00 pm.
Every third Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm in the Narthex, there is an experimental service of worship, praise and modern music called the Narthex Experience. However during the pandemic this has obviously had to be cancelled but we are planning to resume these in the near future.
