St Gabriel, Prestwich

Welcome to St Gabriel's Parish Church, Sedgley Park, Prestwich.  We are a faithful, welcoming and friendly Christian presence at the heart of this richly diverse local community, which has so much to offer the world.  You can find us next to St Gabriel's Medical Centre on Bishops Road.  You can contact us through this website.

A warm welcome awaits you.

As well as our services on a Sunday, we are a place where you can meet other people, engage in social activities and make new friends through the week.

We host Sedgley Drop-In each Monday from 10.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.  in our Downstairs Community Room.   Join us for a brew and chat this week, we'll be talking about current issues and sharing our favourite recipes. We would love to have your favourite recipe for our local recipe book. Come along to find out more.  We also have a Fix-It Cafe - where we offer to look at any broken gadget you may have - and see if we cab find a way of repairing it.

The parish of Prestwich: St Gabriel is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Manchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
