Are you ready to embrace what came next, day by day through Holy Week, and engage with Christ completely? Are you ready? This year, we have something happening every day. Bible Study in the evenings on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, these will be at 6:30pm, at Holy Trinity, Prestolee. This is what I mean about making the effort. It’s not going to be easy to find the will to get up at 6:30pm, put down the glass and switch off the telly and head over to Holy Trinity. But if you do, if you can find the strength, you will not be disappointed. Leaps of faith are always rewarded in my experience. Maundy Thursday we will have a Holy Communion at St Saviours, Ringley, and at the end of the service we strip the altar and leave in silence. It’s such a powerful service. Then on Friday it’s a Holy Walk beginning at Holy Trinity at noon, followed by the Stations of the Cross at 2pm at St Saviours. Or perhaps you want to join the Foot of the Cross Service at St Stephens at 2pm, same day. Saturday, we get a bit of a rest. But if you engage with all before that, it won’t feel like a rest, it will feel as it’s meant to too, empty. And then at the Easter day, a service of the light and Holy Communion on the Joyful day itself in each of our Parishes. I hope you can join us for all of that. In doing so we make sure Jesus is the last thing we think of as we fall asleep and the first thing we think of as we awake each and every day. As we walk with him. He has never left our side, through thick and thin, our best friend, our God, and now, during his darkest hour, it is our chance to walk with him. And show our Love for him. “I have trusted in you O Lord” the Psalm says. Well, here’s our chance to prove it. Walk with him now and all the days of your life. Glory be …
In order to book a Holy Baptism you would need to attend a Baptism preparation event at St Stephens in Kearsley. This takes just 15 minutes or so and is generally a chat, at which point you will be invited to make a booking.19/02/2025 @ 6:30pm - St Stephens12/03/2025 @ 6:30pm - St Stephens14/05/2025 @ 6:30pm - St Stephens18/06/2025 @ 6:30pm - St Stephens23/07/2025 @ 6:30pm - St Stephens17/09/2025 @ 6:30pm - St Stephens Please note we are not taking bookings for May through to August due to a planned Sabbatical.Best Wishes,
