Dear Friends,Over the next few weeks, we will begin to re-open the four Churches in our Benefice. We are starting slowly, opening each Church, in turn, one after the other. After this 4-week period has passed we are aiming to return to something like our original service pattern. It is important to remember we are still in the midst of a Pandemic. The first service at St Stephen’s will be on 16th August at 10 am. Please note there be NO 8:30 service at the moment but that will be regularly reviewed in line with Government & Church of England guidelines. For those concerned about register signing, the state guidance is suggesting to schools to discount any marks from the Covid outbreak to the end of this academic year 2020. As such, no registers will be available for signing until the schools return in September.Important information• Those in the critically vulnerable category are strongly advised not to attend.• The services will be recorded and made available for download each Sunday afternoon.• Please bring a facemask with you and wear it throughout the service.• We will begin to take enquiries once again for Baptisms and Weddings from the 1st of September onwards, contact details will follow nearer the time.• More dates will follow, including those for midweek services.Church will look very different for a while. It will take some time to return to normality. Please do pray for us all as we seek to live, pray, and worship in Jesus Christ's name. With every Blessing,Your Clergy Team
