Next week Sunday 10th October will be Harvest Sunday. This year we will be donating our harvest gifts to a local charity, Westhoughton Assist Service who provide food to local people in need. Westhoughton assist are in particular need of tinned meat and tinned meals. They also need soup, pasta, beans, tomatoes, spaghetti, macaroni cheese, coffee, tea, sugar, jam, rice pudding, custard, cordial, crisps, toilet roll, shampoo and toothpaste. All contributions gratefully received.
