A quiet said service lasting 30 to 40 minutes with no hymns sung. The traditional words of the Book of Common prayer are used, large print service booklets are available.

Refreshments are available after the service providing an opportunity for a chat and fellowship, we often linger for an hour, making new friends, enjoying each others company and news.

Our doors are open from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon on the first Saturday of each month to welcome people to come and enjoy a chat and a cup of tea, or a quiet time to themselves.

A good time for visits to the churchyard spend some quiet personal time in the church, enjoy refreshments and use the toilet facilities.

This year toys donated at our Toy Service will will be delivered by our Mission Outreach team to Sarah Lodge which is a purpose built supported housing scheme. A Place of safety, a home for young pregnant and newly delivered women, their babies and young children under 5 years old. Sarah Lodge aims to enable single young parents and their children to access support and assistance to maximise their transition into independent living.

Also again we hope to support the Children’s Society and their
‘Away from Home’ children project by providing simple
toiletries such as tooth brushes & paste, shower gel, deodorant etc. There are still many thousands of these children and the society tries to keep them from harm, give them shelter and help them on
their way to a more secure life. We know there is not much time but please help us to help the Society help them & show them they are not forgotten this Christmas time.
