Opening
Visitors are always welcome at St. James’ Daisy Hill if you would like to visit outside service times opportunities are listed below or if you want to arrange something outside these times Get in touch via the tab on the left.
In addition to being open during the service and events times listed elsewhere under the tabs to the left you will find the church open to visitors as follows -
Following the main Sunday service which is at 10:00am and ends at 11:00 am when refreshments are served following the service.
Following the Wednesday service which ends at 11am the doors are usually open with a cup of tea available until 12.00noon.
Outside service times, on the frist Saturday of each month the church is open to visitors from 10.00am to 12.00noon with refeshments and toilet facilities available.
The church is also open for other one off events see the events listing to the left.
Getting here
Look out for the Bell Turret it is a clear landmark.
Daisy Hill has good transport connections; Daisy Hill railway station is within walking distance, and Westhoughton station is a short bus ride away. Buses which stop outside the church are: 516 Leigh to Horwich, 517 Leigh to Middlebrook, & 7 (was the 540) Bolton to Wigan. From M61 motorway junction 5 it is 2 miles to the church via A58 and B5235; there is street parking around the church.
