Getting here
Christ Church is situated on the A56, 2 miles north of Bury town centre, in the village of Walmersley. There is a lychgate and graveyard and a clock tower. Around the corner on School Lane there is plentiful parking. Here too is the former primary school, now a well-used church hall. Together with St John with St Mark's Church (one mile south) we form the United Benefice of Walmersley Road.
