You never know what links one place to another...
Clarence House, a royal residence with historic naval links, was furnished by Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip on their marriage in 1947. One of the fabrics they chose, recognising Prince Philip’s distinguished naval service, was The King’s Navee, printed at Rosebank, Stubbins, by Turnbull & Stockdale. This was later chosen by them again for Prince Philip’s quarters on board the Royal Yacht Britannia.
Not only is it a company from Stubbins, but was our own Philip Dunne's family firm.
