After a lot of hard work and dedication, the Ramsbottom British Legion have raised money to refurbish and update the names on the War Memorial in St Paul's gardens. Hearing of this momentous event, the council wonderfully have come onboard and have found monies for replanting and generally improving the area.

With the front walls now rebuilt and ready to serve future generations, work has now moved onto the refurbishment and levelling of the paths around the memorial gardens.

Watch this space; Ramsbottom and indeed St Paul's, will be extremely proud of the new gardens and the unveiling of the new memorial will certainly be a momentous occasion.
