Give as you Live is a fundraising site which will raise money every time you shop online.Thousands of shops, websites and companies are listed on there, all you need to do is sign up by scanning the QR app with your phone or go to www.giveasyoulive.com and choosing St Michael's and All Angels.All monies raised through Give as you Live will go towards the Open House project which has been put in place to fundraise for an accessible toilet and a kitchen.
A Baptism is a service which marks the beginning of a childs journey with God - a journey which continues for the rest of their lives. It's a first step in response to God's love. The wider community of the family and friends and the local church welcome the new Christian, promising support and prayer for the future. Although the Church always calls this service Baptism, it’s also known as Christening, as it’s here that a child is given their Christian names and begins their Christian life.What does it cost? There is no charge for Baptism apart from a £25 administration fee and donations to the church at the end of the service is really welcome!

Many of our couples appreciate the time and space to think about the vows and the difference they will make.4) BannsBanns are announcements in church of your intention to marry and a chance for anyone to put forward a reason why the marriage may not lawfully take place. On these occasions, everyone in your church will also be praying for you. It can be very special and moving, so do go along if you can.5) RehearsalNear your wedding day, normally 2 days before, you will usually have the opportunity to rehearse the ceremony with those who are involved.6) The Big DayWe will do all we can to make the day your day a personal, meaningful and spiritual experience for you and your guests.7) First anniversary and beyondWe are always here for you throughout your marriage if you need it. We would be delighted to mark your first anniversary and beyond - all you need to do is ask.
