Welcome!

All people are welcome here. St George's church is a friendly place offering a welcome to ALL. This is a beautiful church ideal for weddings, baptisms and funerals. We are part of the Benefice of Mossley covering the whole town, and with another worship centre at St John the Baptist Roughtown. The benefice incorporates the former parishes of Mossley, Roughtown and Micklehurst and is part of the Diocese of Manchester, which is part of the Church of England - follow the links to learn more about our faith.

At 11am on Sundays we celebrate the Parish Eucharist. On Sundays in term time our Junior Church also meet, and regular events are held for them. Tea and coffee is available after our services.
