Music and Worship
The worship band at St. Mary's supports the worship at all the main services.
They meet to practise every Wednesday at 7.30pm in church.
We are always looking for new members so if you would like to know more about what we do, please come and speak to us on Sunday, email us [email protected] or fill in the form on the 'Contact us' page.
Groups, Courses and Activities
We have a number of groups and activities available for the children and youth within our Church.
Little Faith/ Creche: No one is too old or too young to worship - and in Little Faith, that is just what we do! Songs, sticking, stories and play make for a lovely morning of worship and praise for our little ones, aged 0-4 (pre-school). We have a fantastic DBS checked team who run Little Faith, who will look after your children during the service or welcome you into the group if you wish to stay.
Children's Church: Children's Church is our Sunday morning church for those aged 4-11 (primary school age). We begin in the main body of the church with everyone, before leaving for more age-appropriate worship. We have a great team of dedicated leaders, assisted by our young people and whilst our aim is that the children will know more about the love of God when they leave than when they came in, fun, food and family are important parts of our Kids worship.
Pathfinders: Our 11-14 year olds meet regularly on a Sunday morning in the Rectory to chat, learn, discuss and enjoy spending time with each other and with Jesus. The teenage years are when questions and opinions develop and we have a great team of leaders who are there to guide our young people through these formative years in relevant, fun and, sometimes, challenging ways.
Impact: Impact is our young people's drama and music outreach group for those in year 3 - 11. We meet in church every other Monday from 6:30-8pm, to take part in drama, rehearse, socialise and learn instruments and vocals.

Life Groups:
St Mary's started up Life Group's in January 2019, and currently, have six small groups who meet at various times during the week (at different locations), on a fortnightly basis.
We meet to:
- Chat, develop meaningful friendships and enjoy each others company.
- Learn from the Bible and one another.
- Pray for one another so that we may grow together as Christians.
- Offer love and support to one another.
- Encourage each other's walk in the good times and the bad times.
TNT:
TNT is our 20's and 30's group, which takes place at The Rectory (first house after the Church Car Park), from 7:45pm on the first Sunday of the month.

A relaxed look at who Jesus is, why he came, and why he's the best news in the world! We'll read from the Bible about his life, watch a short video explaining more & then have time for questions and chat if you'd like to. You can ask any questions you want or just sit and listen. We currently have a 7-week course meeting weekly on Wednesday evenings, but you don't need to commit straight away - why not try it for one session and see what you think?
If you'd like to join us, please let us know on [email protected] or call 0161 336 4529
Men's Keep Fit is a community group for men to meet, socialise and exercise together, motivating, and offering tips and encouragement to each other. They meet weekly on a Monday evening from 7:30 - 8:30pm.

Little Lambs is a popular Carer and Toddler group who currently meet for 3 sessions per week in term-time. We aim to provide an exciting, safe, friendly and fun environment for children and their carers to socialize, play, interact and enjoy themselves with a variety of play activities with appropriate and child-friendly equipment for all pre-school children. Through some of the play, craft, stories and song we also share the love of Jesus Christ and celebrate the Christian festivals throughout the year.

People were also bringing babies to Jesus for him to place his hands on them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. But Jesus called the children to him and said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.’ Luke 18:15-17
Pathfinders is our group for young people who are secondary school age. We are currently meeting every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month from 4:30-6pm in the Church Centre (outdoors as much as possible but indoors socially distanced due to bad weather).
We aim to grow closer to Jesus through bible teaching and discussing what it means for us, as grow closer in friendship through having fun, playing table tennis, games and chatting.
