There are various ways that children and young people can get involved in our church and community.

Our Services:

The third Sunday of the month is usually an All Age Service suitable for young and old alike.  

Church Lads and Church Girls Brigade  (Hoping to re-open in September 2021)

Church Lads and Church Girls Brigade meet every Tuesday evening during term time for a range of activities.  Boys and girls are welcome to join.  There are four different age groups:  Martins (5-7 years) and Y Team (7 -10 years) who meet from 6.30 - 8.00pm and JTC (10-13 years) and Seniors (13 - 21 years) who meet from 7.00pm - 9.00pm.  The Brigade take part in our monthly Parade Services, usually on the third Sunday of the month.    Brigade activities include fun, faith & fellowship, games & play, sports, earning badges, playing in the band and the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

The weekly subscription cost for Martins, Y Team & JTC is £1.00 and Seniors is £1.50. There is an annual membership fee  of £15.00.  

Sunshine Pre-school:

Sunshine Pre-school is based at the Church of the Epiphany and is open for ages 2 – 5 Years.  Each session is 3 hours long from 8.30am to 11.30 am and 11.30 am to 2.30pm. 2 sessions can be used in one day – 8.30am to 2.30pm. Funding for 2 year olds, free entitlement for 3 year olds and 30 hours free childcare available.   Dancing and sports sessions throughout the week with ‘Little Sports Coaching’.

The Pre-school is Ofsted graded GOOD:  ‘Children thoroughly enjoy their time in this vibrant Pre-school. They make good progress in their learning and gain the skills they need to be ready for school’. (Ofsted 2018)

Our vicar and other church members are trustees of the Preschool.
