Christingle is a candle-lit celebration which takes place every year in the run up to Christmas. Christingles are made from an orange decorated with red tape, sweets and a candle.
The parish support The Childrens Society at this event with collection boxes.
Over the last 50 years, Christingle celebrations have raised millions of pounds to support our life-changing work with children and young people. The money you raise can help connect them to our services, and rekindle the hope they deserve. In fact, over 2,000 Christingle celebrations lit up the country in 2024 raising more than £700,000.
