His leap from the sky went ahead as scheduled on 3rd August at Sibson airfield, near Peterborough.  Sponsored by friends and well-wishers who pledged their support through an online 'Just Giving' page, Kenny is proud to have reached his personal target of £1,000 which will go towards the much-needed essential repairs which are underway to maintain and improve our church building.

Why St Hilda's? 

Some years ago the funeral service for Kenny's beloved grandparents was held in the church before they were laid to rest in Denton Cemetery. Recently Kenny's father passed away and his service was held at St Hilda's on 1st June 2023. 

"The service was led by the Rev Amy-Elizabeth Sheridan who made it feel so personal and such a heartfelt and memorable occasion for the whole family. I will never forget the respectful and 'non rushed' way that Rev Amy gave the service so we were able to say 'Goodbye' for now to our beloved father and grandfather to our children."
