Getting here
The parish was created in 1964 following a big housing expansion in South Failsworth. The first Church building was a prefabricated structure (now used as a hall). The present building was built and opened in 1971. The Church is a member of The Society and follows a catholic tradition within the Church of England. It looks to the Bishop of Beverley for episcopal oversight. However we have very close links with our Diocese and play a full part in its life and mission.
The Church complex also includes two large halls, an office, prayer room, small meeting room and modern toilet facilities. It also has a licensed bar which can be opened for functions. The Centre is now run as a limited company and is at the very heart of community activity in the area.
