A child and family friendly service lasting 30-40 minutes. We use a TV screen for words and presentations and support the singing and prayers with signing; a mixture of British Sign Language, Makaton and things-we-made-up-that-seemed-to-work. 1st Sunday in the month and special occasions like Christmas and Easter, we join with our regular Parish Communion worshippers to share the bread and wine together at 10.00 a.m

St John's Church Failsworth

We are a welcoming community church in the centre of Failsworth, with a diverse and inclusive congregation.

Our regular Services on most Sundays are a Parish Communion with hymns at 9.30 am and then an All Age Family Friendly Service at 11.00 (for 40 mins). On the 1st Sunday of the month, both congregations come together for an All Age Parish Communion at 10.00 am, as we do on Christmas Day, Easter Day and other special occasions like the Confirmation Service with Bishop Mark.

We also have a regular midweek Communion each Weds at 10.00 am Followed by refreshments in the Church Lounge. All very welcome.

If you would like to visit St John's outside our  present opening hours, please phone Rev Aysha or Church Warden Jackie Flanagan  07974831467 or Deputy Warden Mary Still 0161 6829884.  Once we have our disabled access and reordering project completed, St John's will be open for visitors on a regular basis.
