St Clement's Parish Church, Urmston

About St. ClementsWho are we?

St Clements Church is part of the Diocese of Manchester, in the Church of England, and one of two Churches (Christ Church, St Clements) in the United Benefice of Christ Church Davyhulme with St Clement Urmston.

St Clements Parish Church is a group of people of all different ages and backgrounds, we are bound together by a common desire to worship God, care for one another, and, along with the other churches in the area, bless the communities of Urmston, Flixton, and Davyhulme in which we live and work. We meet in the beautiful Victorian Church building on the corner of Stretford Rd and Manor Avenue. We aspire to be a loving community who worship God, and demonstrate the love and grace of Jesus Christ in all we are and what we do.

The Church of England believes that:

God’s love and grace, through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, creates, sustains and redeems the world.  That God loves and cares for each one of us and wishes us to be part of divine loving action in the world.  That through each one of us God wishes to bless those around us.

St Clements Church aspires to put this into practice.
