About Us

'Delighting in God and diverse community' is our strapline, for we are blessed to be located in a faith-rich, culturally diverse community. The church is open daily for prayers and space to meditate in peace. We are a black majority congregation in a red brick church with green aspirations both in terms of growth and mission. Our worship resources us to serve this diverse community and has given birth to the wonderful St John's Centre https://www.stjohnscentre.org/ and the renewable energy co-op we run with the community https://stjohnssunshine.wordpress.com/ 

On Sundays we meet for our 10.00 service (also accessible via Zoom), with hymns of worship, a short talk to encourage our faith in Jesus and the sharing of communion.
