Planning is now underway for the Christmas Fair and there are just 7 weeks to go. It is taking place on Saturday, 9th December 2023 from 11.00 until 15.00 inside our Church and Church Croft. New for this year will be a Christmas sing -a-long from 14.30 – 15.00 led by two members of our own congregation. This event is being organised completely in house. There will be no outside stalls. Some of the stalls and ideas are new. We cannot do this without your help and support. Donations and volunteers are wanted. Can you help? You'll see where help is needed in the list below: · Refreshments inside Church Croft, including homemade soup. · Baileys for hot chocolate and mulled wine.· Raffle – donations wanted for a food and wine hamper.· Soft toy tombola – good as new, soft -cuddly toys.· General tombola – prizes for all ages.· Toys – good as new toys and games.· Toiletries – good as new/unopened boxes.· Winter stall – things that you would associate with winter (but not necessarily Christmas).· Weird stall – anything that might be considered unusual or oddball.Donations for any of the stalls can be left at the back of church from 18th November.If you would like to help at the event, please sign the form at the back of church or contact Lesley – tel. 0161 748 0819 or email thewhites.41r@gmail.comThe final planning meeting is being held in the front room of the Church Croft on 14th November from 19.00 – 20.00.
