This was a very much last minute plan but worked well.

A wonderful nature hunt craft and picnic today in the church grounds. 9 children 2 babies 7 adults. We made bug hotels to take home, looked for colours, leaves, flowers, bugs and they pulled up potatoes to take home for tea. Crafts with nature too. An #ecochurch activity day enjoyed by all. The wildflowers around the war memorial lawn and the borders saw a butterfly, bee, and underneath rocks and tree trunks wood lice centipedes and slugs. Erica helped the children top up the bird seed too .
