Sacred Trinity Church

We would love to welcome you to join us at Sacred Trinity Church on Chapel Street in Salford where our Sunday morning service starts at 11:15am. This is always followed by the chance to chat over a cuppa! On Sunday evenings we meet from 6:45pm for a brew before the worship itself starts at 7:15pm with something different depending on which Sunday in the month ~ see our Services and Events page for more details.

We are OPEN as a Place Of Welcome on Tuesdays from 12noon until 2pm. Please call in to see us, share drinks, snacks and chat with others. We also have the Talk English Health Walk and Art Classes taking place at the same time.

On Tuesday evenings please join us for "Blessed are"; a special Bible Study Group which starts with a simple meal at 7pm before the bible study starts at 7:30pm. There's another chance to join us for Silence In The City at 6pm on a Wednesday evening.

On Sunday 8th Dec at 7pm Beer And Carols! Join us as we enjoy an evening together singing Carols and Christmas Songs and sharing some beer!! On Sunday 15th Dec at 11:15am Community Carol Service with readings and carols followed by festive refreshments

Also on Sunday 15th Dec, we meet for refreshments at 6:45pm for the Open Table Carol Service starting at 7:15pm: a special welcome is offered to all from the LGBTQIA + Community and their allies.

Sunday 22nd Dec: 11:15am Normal(ish) Service then meet us at church at 7pm to go for a Christmas drink!

Tuesday 24th Dec at 5pm Christmas Eve Candlelit Carol Service - a beautiful start to Christmas proper

Wednesday 25th Dec at 10am Christmas Day Celebration Communion Service

Sacred Trinity is a friendly, open-minded church. Here since 1635, We continue to be an uplifting, loving, transformative and sometimes surprising presence in our community. We produce a short video service which is available to view on Facebook and our YouTube Channel, simply search for Sacred Trinity Church.  On Wednesdays we have a half hour service of quiet meditation at 6pm called "Silence In The City".

Our Annual meeting is held after the service on 28th April 2024. At this meeting we reflect on the past year and elect our Church Council for the coming year. All are welcome to take part. Our annual report is attached.

The Diocese of Manchester partners with thirtyone:eight and you can access their Safeguarding Helpline if the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser is unavailable. Thirtyone:eight can be contacted on 0303 003 1111. This also includes any safeguarding queries outside of office hours on weekdays and weekends. An Information Sharing Agreement between the two organisations will allow the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser to receive a copy of the advice thirtyone:eight may offer the caller.
