About Us
St Thomas’ Church, Pendleton (part of the Salford All Saints Team) is one of two churches in the Parish of Pendleton & Claremont. Our style of worship is in the modern catholic tradition; vestments, music, ceremonial and dignity are central to our worship.
St Thomas' is a large Grade II listed church, sitting prominently alongside the A6 - Broad Street in Pendleton. We warmly welcome people from far and near, including students from the nearby university. The church is blessed with a good organ, a small choir, and a committed group of bell ringers.
"The parish of Pendleton and Claremont is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Manchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
