Funerals

God’s love and power extend over all creation. Every life, including our own, is precious to God. Christians have always believed that there is hope in death as in life, and that there is new life in Christ after death.

Even those who share such faith find that there is a real sense of loss at the death of a loved one. We will each have had our own experiences of their life and death, with different memories and different feelings of love, grief and respect for those we mourn.

The church offers funeral services as time and space to celebrate the life of your loved ones in a supportive and loving way, where we can tell stories, share memories, reflect on events in a loved one's life, and join together to grieve.

There is no time limit for a church service, so if you would like to come into church to celebrate the life of your loved one, please ask your Funeral Director to contact Rev'd Pam Smith who will be delighted to engage with you at this very sad time.

If you would like some support or someone to just talk to after the loss of a loved one, please ring Pam on 07834 424568.
