St. Mary's Church, Ellenbrook
Welcome to St. Mary's, Ellenbrook and St. Andrew's, Boothstown!
There has been a place of worship on the site of St. Mary's for 800 years, but 2025 is the 300th Anniversary of the consecration of our current building of the Church of St Mary the Virgin, Ellenbrook. Our celebration party was on January 19th but there will be other opportunities to celebrate with us during the year.
People have been worshipping in Boothstown in and around the site of the current school of St. Andrew's since the 19th century; services now take place in the school hall.
All our services are inter-generational, open to everyone of any age or background; special provision is made for children to be part of the service. Both children and adults are welcome to be baptised.
We also welcome weddings and funerals.
As well as services we hold many other events such as coffee mornings, lunch and chat and Whizzy Tots. There's always something going on and everyone is welcome.
St. Mary’s and St. Andrew’s are part of the parish of St. Mark, Worsley, in the Diocese of Manchester, in mission partnership with Holy Rood Church, Swinton.
SAFEGUARDING.

The Diocese of Manchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisors who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
