We would love to welcome you to Holy Rood Church, which is also known as the Church Of The Holy Rood, on Moorside Road in Swinton. Our Sunday Morning Service starts at 10am; it is usually a service of Sung Eucharist i.e. Holy Communion to a sung setting with hymns, readings and prayers but sometimes is a Service Of The Word. Afterwards you are invited to join us in the Memorial Hall next to the church for coffee and conversation. 

Regrettably the Memorial Hall is not available for private hire for birthday or other parties.

The Community Coffee Morning returns from its Summer Break this Wednesday, 9th September! The Community Coffee Morning is held on Wednesday mornings during term time only in the Memorial Hall from 10am until 11:30am ~ all are welcome! 

THIS SUNDAY! Please join us for Rally For Rudy – a family fun day filled with entertainment, activities, fundraising and community spirit. Rally for Rudy has been organised to support Rudy who was born with bilateral anophthalmia and a rare SOX2 gene mutation. Despite facing daily challenges and numerous hospital appointments, therapies and medical procedures, Rudy continues to bring so much joy to everyone around him.

Funds raised from this event will help support specialist equipment, therapies, medical supplies, travel costs and home adaptations, while also raising awareness of Rudy’s conditions and the challenges faced by children with complex disabilities.
Expect live entertainment, family activities, games, stalls, food, prizes and much more.

Sunday, 4th October at 10am; please join us for our Harvest Festival Service! Any Harvest Gifts received will be donated to Salford Loaves & Fishes.

Tuesday Afternoons: Line Dancing continues in the hall 1pm to 3pm ~ all are welcome including absolute beginners. The cost is £4 per session including tea, coffee and biscuits ~ well worth it for the fun and friendship.
