The Benefice Weekly Prayer Group starts at 10am on a Wednesday morning at St Andrew's Church in Chadwick Road in Eccles and is followed by a service of Holy Communion at 11am ~ all are welcome at either or both of these events. Holy Communion in the nave of our historic Mediaeval church building followed by refreshments in the Bridgewater Room.

Hymns, bible readings, prayers and a talk applying the message of the bible to our modern lives. With communion to remember the sacrifice of Jesus made for us when he was crucified.

Sunday Afternoon Café Church takes place at St Paul’s Church in Monton on the 4th Sunday of each month starting at 4pm. The service is relaxed, informal and modern in style…and is for all ages. Everyone is welcome!

Thursday, 29th May 2025 is Ascension Day, the day when we celebrate that our Lord Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven to be reunited with his Father.
We are marking this in the Eccles Team Of Churches by coming together for a team service of Holy Communion at St Mary's, Eccles Parish Church on Church Street in Eccles starting at 10:15am.
The service will be followed by refreshments in the Bridgewater Room which is open every Thursday as a "Place Of Welcome"
