About Us

Our beautiful and historic church has been serving the community of Gorton for over 500 years. The present church was built in 1871 to meet the needs of the expanding population funded by Charles Frederick Beyer, the local industrialist and philanthropist. It was designed by the celebrated architect George Shaw. 

Our Church offers Weddings, Baptisms, Funerals and Pastoral Care.
