Free family friendly activities this August

With everything from craft and poetry sessions, to Wiggle Worship, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this summer.

Wiggle Worship - every Tuesday in August from 9.30am

Wiggle is a bookworm puppet who loves to sing and dance. He loves books so much that he even decorated his house to look like his favourite book - the Bible! Wiggle likes to bring things to share with the children, like a thought-provoking object, a story, an action song and a craft, all connected around a Christian theme.

Energetic and interactive worship with songs, bible studies and fun. Suitable for pre-school and primary school aged children.

Craft and Poetry - Tuesdays in August from 10.30am - 12 noon
Join us in the Jesus Chapel at Manchester Cathedral for poetry reading and craft activities.

We will be reciting animal poems from around the world and doing corresponding craft activities which fit with our environmental ethos as an Eco Church.

Sessions are tailored for 7-10 year olds during the summer holidays but are open to anyone. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Water will be provided, as will craft supplies.
