Christingle Service supporting the vital work of The Children’s Society. Christingle is a joyful celebration that brings families and communities together to share the light of Jesus and spread a message of hope.
Christingle celebrations are named after the Christingles that are lit during the ceremony. Christingles are oranges wrapped in red tape, decorated with dried fruit or sweets, with a candle on the top.
We welcome all worshipping with us, particularly any visitors for the first time. Christmas is always special and not just for children. We pray that the Christ Child, the light that shines in the darkness of this world, may be born in our hearts and homes this Christmas.
Please stay and enjoy refreshments after the Service.
