The Rosary is a tool to aid prayer. Rosary comes from the Middle English word rosarie (taken from the Latin word rosārium), which means garland of roses, and the the word Bead (Rosary Beads) comes from the Old English bede which means prayer. So, Rosary Beads really means 'a garland of prayers'.

Some people confuse praying the Rosary as praying to Mary. This is simply not the case. All prayers are solely to God; in the Rosary we simply ask Mary to pray for us.

We gather together once a month on a Saturday at 4pm to talk about and pray to Rosary.

Why not join us and see for yourself how Our Lady will also pray for you?
