About Us

St Lawrence is a church for all and we welcome people of all backgrounds, races and sexualities. We value the ministry of women and men and offer opportunities for worship and fellowship not only on Sundays but throughout the week. We are a parish within the Modern Anglo-Catholic tradition. People have different ways of praising God, and we try to reflect that in the different Services that take place at St Lawrence. 

We aim to ensure that everyone is made to feel really welcome at St Lawrence but we know from experience that walking into any church for the first time can seem daunting. If you want to come along, there will be people at the entrance who will be ready to hand you a service sheet, help you find a seat and answer any questions you might have.
